Many home projectors have built-in speakers, but not many are as good at projecting sound as they are images. The sound quality also deserves a mention. You can also create your own settings, allowing you to create a custom brightness and colour setting to suit your needs, just like on a standard television. The TK800 comes with four different modes: standard, Vivid TV, Cinema, Sport, and Football, each gradually cranking up the brightness that bit more. I was similarly dazzled by the product's 'cinema mode'. The colours, which had been great in standard mode, suddenly popped even brighter, even more vividly. (See: I told you these things have got better.) So, no more having to draw the curtains in the middle of the day to be able to see your projected movie. The HDR colours are vivid, the 4K definition is sharp, and the 3,000 lumen LED bulbs are not only bright enough to project in the daytime, but they’re bright enough to project well in direct sunlight too. The quality of the projection on the TK800 is scorchingly brilliant. I know, I know, a bold statement, but I stand by it. The BenQ Tk800 is one of the latter – it’s much too heavy to be moving around all the time. But that’s alright because, you know what? This projector is better than your television. Running a line tidily, in a way that doesn't make your den look like a disaster, isn't always so simple. ![]() Something else in this area may present you with somewhat of a challenge, however-running a line is easy.
